Hi, I need fitting instructions for taw bar on C180T 1998. Can anyone help me?

I think he means a tow bar. It goes on the front of the car. The car gets towed, instead of doing the towing.

 

I mean the trailer coupling. I have instructions for the electrical parts, but not for the mechanical. I guess I have to drill some holes but I don't know where.

 

i like drilling holes too... down there.

i know your car is wagon but the down there it's the same.

so it isn't taw bar at all.

just print 'em out and piece them together.

PLEASE wear safety goggles because, the sharp metal you drilled will go down by gravity and you won't like them on those eyes.(not unless of course if you tilt the car sideways).

Just one more question:
On my car the rearmost exhaust silencer is welded to the rest of the exhaust pipeline and goes all the way to the engine.
I guess it's not original since I read somewhere that the rearmost silencer can be removed.
Can I just unhook the silencer from the brackets and just move it out of the way so I can drill the holes? Or will I damage the exhaust pipe?
