Engine mount help!!!!!!

Default Engine mount help!!!!!!

I have a 98 c280 and need to change the motor mounts.I looked at it this morning and it looked impossible.Any suggestions or ideas please!!!!!!!!!!!

do it from below. on a lift is the easiest. hold the engine up with a tranny jack and pop them in and out. i havent looked specifically at a w202 for a while, but thats the easy way its done on most of these cars. you are just doing the rubbers, and not the metal wings that attach to the block itself, right?

Yes,the rubber mounts but it seems that I see the bottom bolt I just cant see the top bolt on either side.I look from the bottom and the top.

you may not be able to actually see the bolt, but it should be the same size as the bottom bolt. see if you can get your hand in and feel the bolt head, and if you can, see if you can fit a wrench in to turn it. it sucks, but sometimes you just have to work blind.

I have a feeling that its going to be a very painful excersise but I will win(Hopefully).

replacing engine mount is not easy though without the correct tools and equipment...each rubber have 2 bolts..top and bottom...good luck
