Default Engine chirping noise after oil change

I just bought a 2007 Mercedes C280 4 Matic with 13K miles a month ago, today is the first time I performed a DIY oil change on my car I used the recommended Mobil 1 0W-40 synthethic oil and the OEM Mann oil filter, I also used Mityvac 7201 to suck the oil out, I believed that I did everything by the book and after I finished, now the engine produced the chirping noise when I start the car from cold, the noise will go away or becomes very low sound in about 10 minutes with the engine running. Please let me know what could be the problem or what di I do wrong here? Thanks.

Vinh

Vinh> sounds like you did everything right. Most importantly, check the oil level. You want to be sure you have the correct amount of oil in the engine. Other than that, I don't know what would cause a chirping noise after an oil change. It's possible it's not related and it just happened then, but......don't want to assume anything yet.

Thanks. I foundthe problem it was oil dripped on the belt that caused the noise. Now after running for about 10 miles the noise is gone. I guess the oil dripped on the belt is dried up.

But I have new problem, after oil change I reset the service message and I over reset it to service A, my car is 14K miles now next one it should be service B, using the same procedure to reset the serives message again but it did not allow me to reset it back and forth. How do I set it back to B?
