Default detuning a stiff C230K suspension

I just bought a 2005 C230K, 12k miles, a sweet car in great condition.
However, the previous owner had installed BBS wheels, thin tires
and the suspension is über stiff. Racing sutff. The tires I can replace
and the wheels are fine. But the stiff suspension has to go.

Can someone tell me what my options are?
Can I have the suspension de-tuned or do I have to have it replaced?
How much is this going to cost?

There are lots of people who upgrade their springs and shocks from stock. If you post some WTB postings on the various MB forums, I am sure you can pick up leftovers sitting in someone's garagecheap. If you can find out what brand and model of springs andshocks you have, you can probably sell them. In fact, you can probably find someone who is wanting to upgrade that could just swap you one-for-one or maybe even give you a bit of cash in the trade as long as you have decent equipment.

Do you know what kind of suspension parts they installed?
