Dangit! Backedc into my C220 - Need Headlight and Grille
Well after putting in the shifter bushing tonight and feeling great, I parked the 202 behind my ML430 which was in the garage. I thought it was farther out than it was and I needed to check a POI distance on my ML's navigation, so I went to back it out - opened the garage doors from inside the ML (stupid) and meant only to back to just out from under the eaves of the house - and crash. I backed into the stinking C220. Broke out the passenger headlight (but turn signal is still fine), dented the heck out of the grill insert parts - but frame is still good, and slightly buckled the hood but I think I can straighten that out by hand as it is very slight. Good news is the ML is dent free - only a thin 1/2" long scratch on the lower bumper from the light breaking but it is where there was already a small scratch and now I cant tell which was which.
SO....... Does anyone have a passenger side headlight for sale for a 96 C220 and a grill or grill insert? I think I might just be able to do the insert as the frame is still fine on the grill and I don't care if it is stock or one of those sport inserts. Something cheap would be great
