College Grad wants a benz
I have not yet graduated from college. I graduate in May 2010, however I want to plan accordingly so I have the best chance to purchase a mercedes upon my graduation.
Assuming that I am able to land a job with an annual salary of 50k do you guys think I will be able to afford a C 300 sport?
I'm saving up right now so I can also put money down to have a lower monthly payment.
The only thing is I'm not sure if Mercedes will even offer a lease to a recent college grad. Basically I was just wondering if my anticipated salary is enough to lease a C 300 sport.
Thanks in advance

The smartest man I ever met taught me these things at an early age.
I should have listened to him.
1. Live within your own means.
2. Save and invest 10% of everything you make.
3. Don't be house rich and cash poor.
4. Diversify all your investments.
5. Sell something that is mostly water.
I can see people grinning over that last one. Right?
These things were told to me by my father at age 13.
He was a military general who is famous for his role in the Cuban Missle Crisis.
RIP Dad. You were right.

Treat cars as a commodity, not luxury. I would suggest you to pay off for your housing, credit card and loans, get enough money for marriage first. Go for a Merc or BMW when your life is on the track.
