check engine light

Default check engine light

My check engine light just appeared on today. There is nothing wrong with the car and it starts and drives like new. Thats Weird. Does anyone no why?

You need to pull OBDII codes, see where it leads. I could be as simple as your gas cap is loose

Rule no. 1 for check engine light on any car.....tighten the gas cap.
If that doesn't work, diagnose to find the problem. The car may or may not "run fine".
