Changing my air filter

Changing my air filter
Hello,
I need to change the airfilters in my 2001 C240. I thought that the engine cover would just pop off but from what I can see it looks like there are four screws to take out. I looked through the manuals that came with the car but there were no directions on how to take the cover off. Does anyone know if the screws are phillips head or torx? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

RE: Changing my air filter
The reason there are no directions is Mercedes doesn't want you to change the filter. I understand 2005s Mercedes cars have no oil dip stick. My 99 has no tranny dipstick, but now I guess Mercedes wants to make some money on service, for checking the oil. You can check it electonically, I have that feature also, but IMHO cars are becoming like computers point and drive.
I recently bought a 99 W107 450SLC. It great, you actually drive the car.
