I bought a 1997 c230 yesterday and it didn't have a cd changer in it. It has the spot in the trunk to put it. My question is does Mercedes plum in the wiring back to the car even tough they didn't put cd player in? What do you think the best solution for the prblem is. Also it didn't have any owners manual where's the best place to get them. Thanks for everyones help.</P>

the wiring for your cd changer is back there behind the side panel. I would look on e-bay for a changer. I can't remember if you have the fiber optic stereo in your car or not, I don't think it is and if that's the case you can buy an Alpine CD changer with anadaptor plugthat will make it work through your radio just like the factory benz changer for a lot less money. If it is fiber optic the changer plugwill be a small blackplug with no wiring pins (just a red flat face on it), if it's the normal (older) system the plug is much larger and had visible pins in it.
