Can't reach Crankshaft position sensor, what now?
I'm trying to replace the crankshaft position sensor in a 1994 C220.
I'm failing to reach it. Maybe my hand is too big but I've been fooling around trying to get to it for 2 days and I'm about to give up.
I tried putting it on ramps and reaching from the bottom, but it's not really possible because it's sitting basically on top of the bell housing.
From the top, I can't fit my hand down in there between the outer firewall and the back of the engine. I can feel the cable close to the sensor, but can't get a finger on the sensor itself.
Now I'm trying to figure out what can I take apart to make this doable.
