Default C320

Hi guys,

Unfortunately, i met with an accident recently and got smashed into the back of a car on a motorway, where the other car was going too slow around a corner. After that, I noticed that my car stopped accelerating. I wanted to make sure that I parked at a safe place on the motorway where there was a hard shoulder. Is there a safety measure in a C320 (2002) to disable the engine after a a medium scale accident?

Thnx
Terry

Yes, it is called limp home mode. When there is a malfuncton with the transmission, it stays in 2nd gear to limp home. Obviously, the accident has done some damage to the drive train, Better have it checked out ASAP. Here in the colonies, once you receive payment from the insurance company it is hard to get additional money if something is found later on. I assume your from the UK? Motorway is common usage in the colonies.
