Default C300 sunroof failure at 3700 miles!

My car reached 3700 miles not long ago and I have just bought it abit longer than a month ago, the sunroof doesn't close automaticly, I have to hold the switch to shut it, and there's lag while its shutting. Im not sure if its my car's problem or any other W204 is experiencing that? I will go check with the dealer next week.

I'm sure, it being a brand new car, that the dealer you bought it from will take care of it for you. Should just be a minor
thing, maybe a defective switch. Mine did that a couple of years ago and after I used it a few times, it stopped, so who
knows.

i have to hold my button down too (C230K) to get the shades to close over the front and rear sunroofs..rooves? I had read on the web there may be some electric sunroof issues. oh BTW don't let your battery go dead...in my car, when it gets LOW on charge i can't get out of first gear! had to drive to the dealership that way...luckily only about 3 miles on city streets.

W204, My C300 4MATIC Sports sunroof seems to jerk when it's closing.. I have to hold the
switch down too instead of one touch. I have less than 500 miles on the car. Have youheard
anything yet on your problem? Thanks.

yes, the dealer fixed it for me yesterday, they said its because of the sensor unsynchronized. I will gohome check what exactly the receipt states and reply you later tonight. It only took them about 20 min to fix, I guess its a common problem for the new C-class.

I have checked the receipt from dealer, it indicates that "Found code A22754 internal fault with roof control unit calibration, found obstructin sensor out of syncronzation, re syncronize sensor and roof."
Hope that helps you
