Hi all - I recently picked up a 2011 c300 4Matic Sport and have noticed that when the transmission is set on the "Economy" selection and I'm stopped on a hill, the Hill Start Assist doesn't seem to hold the car in place. It holds for a brief second, but not nearly enough time for me to switch from the break to the gas. However, when I have the transmission set on "Sport" it holds with no problem. I had a '09 before and that one would hold on a hill regardless of the settings.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

 

That's because in comfort mode car starts from second gear, but in sport from first.
