Hey guys, I am new to the Mercedes world and am looking at trying to get a 2003 or 2004 c230 kompressor sport sedan. I have a couple of questions about the car and would appreciate any help you can offer. We'll start with I like speed. My current vehicle is a 99 Honda Civic Si turbo that makes around 350hp but it breaks down about twice a month and I need a daily. I love the styling of this car and that it is factory supercharged...my question is what kinds of things can be done to make good reliable horsepower. Nothing extravagant, but just a little extra power. Is it as easy has putting on a good exhaust and and switching the supercharger pulley?? Also, about what boost levels to the stock cars run and about what is reliable on this engine.

The styling is going to stay stock with the exception of maybe some upgraded mercedes wheels...like the c55 amg if they fit, and some window tint. What trim gets the aero package that I have seen?? What trim gets the HIDs, if available??

Also how difficult is it to do aftermarket stereo equipment...not much, deck, good speakers, and 4 ch amp....??? Or is it better to stick with the factory radio,s peakers and amplifiers??

If I go to buy one is there anything specific that I should look for...? Know issues of anykind that could lead to expensive repairs, etc...

i cant help you with the mercedes tuning part much. BUT, powerchip offers an ECU upgrade, Kleeman offers supercharger kits and a whole bunch of performance modifications you might like. as far as the AMG rims go, im not sure so dont quote me on this, they might be a little wider than the tires/rims/ whatever, that you have on the benz now. and lastly, that is refreshing to know that you have a REALLY good taste in modifying that civic because it really does look good. not to mention, thats a real intercooler, not just some fake visual one. (has to be with 350hp. ) either way, hope i could help a little. good luck.
