c230 Kerb lights for the two front Doors
Does any one know how easy it is to fit these lights to the underside of the front doors, and where one might get them from.
Here in the UK the lights are standard on the Elegance and Avantguard models but not available on the Sports Edition.
There is a small indentation in the door fabric just rear of the front door speaker housing. Is this where the light is fitted and will the wiring loom be standard so I would expect to find a couple of connectors?
Appreciate any help forthcoming.

I spent some time in the UK over 30 years ago, and I never heard the term Kerb lights. What is there purpose? Are the similar to the lights on the inside of some American cars that are supposed to tell on coming traffic your door is open?
Thanks,
Thanks,
Of course, the proper spelling is curb lights. I've had several cars with them. They're called puddle lights here. The light up the area just outside the door so you can straddle puddles and other mucky things, and see the curb so you don't trip on it, I suppose.
your car don't have it because it's classic or sport version.
however, you can install them since it only get actuation signal from door control module. (connector #7, pin 2 & 3).
it is now called door entrance and exit lamp.

Thanks for the info. Is the connector found behind the door speaker?
By the way Kerb in the UK is the edge of what you would call sidewalk and curb means control. I guess I should have used "curb" as I want to control some lights.
