Hello to all,

I'm about to become a proud new owner of my first Mercedes-Benz; a 2002 C230. I only want to know if it's still a good deal or not. It has 51k and sells for roughly 17$US. Never been implicated in an accident. What should I absolutely check before official purchase? Any common problems or issues with the model and year?

MB cars made between 2001-2004 are really low in quality. I guarantee you at least one part will go wrong during your first year with this used car; 90% chance O2 sensor or MAF sensor failure, 60% chance with electronics and wiring.

Just read MotorTrend and do some research on what JDPower said.
