Been having irregular problems with my immobiliser, sometimes the car immobilises itself with the keys in the ignition and hasalso done this when I've locked the car and come back after a short time and it won'tstart. in which case, causes me to have to wait from10mins up to an hour. I've been told thatthere is a self immobilising systemwhen the keys have been leftin the ignition for a period of time. If this is the case, why does it happen whenI unlock the car eg. Put fuel in car andlock, pay for fuel, unlock car, key in ignition.NOTHING!!!![:@]One hour later.

 

that has happened to me before i installed an alarm on my car.

try to lock and unlock the car with the key from the driver side, then try to start it, if that dont work, lock it and unlock it from the trunk, that usually did it for me
