You're off to the dealer. I did the same thing myself - except it was to change cluster bulbs (which I ended up not even having to remove the wheel after all) but nothing would reset it - disconnecting battery, turning keys X number of times, etc - all the tricks that worked with the older MBs with airbags. Dealer said 95's and up required that special round tool to reset them.

I guess I'm in deep **** here ccause I need the airbag to be working and the dealer charges about $200 equivalent in local currency just to have the car in his garage and take a look. Few pple in Cameroon can afford to take their cars to the MB dealer. I guess some tech wiz in this forum must know a trick or 2 that can help save my $200. Please help!
