C200K estate 2001 final drive whine.

As soon as I reach 50mph there is a whinning coming from the final drive, but only when the power is on. This also occurs at lower speeds when slight power applied. Anyone any cheap solutions.

try topping up gear box and axell diff if this doesent clear it its either gear box problem or dif problem either one will cost a bomb to fix
