1997 C200 Elegance, at 66k kilometers.

Recently got the gear box replaced. Today while driving, the box stuck in the 3rd gear. When Idepressed the gas,the engine revved up like crazy while the speed reached over 80km. However I tried the box refused to go over the3rdgear. Pulled over and re-started the engine, and the problem solved.

Do I need to worry? Thanks a lot for your advice in advance.

 

was the box second hand or new ,needto check the oil level on the box this are very senstive electronic boxes if the level is low they do play up...........
