my merc wouldnt start for some reason..and i would like to tow to mechanic,but cant move the gear stick....its automatic..should the gear stick move then the car isnt started?i have an older merc auto as well.so i am able to move the gear stick even if its not on..so could anyone who has or had c class 2001 or newer tell me if the gear stick should move when the car is not on?i press the break pedal,but that doesnt help...
