Default Battery blew up!!!!!

Well boys and girls, the battery on my C280 Sport blew up last weekend, thank god it's in the trunk. Couldn't imaginewhat amess it would have been if it was in the engine compartment. Easy way to resync your windows and sunroof is to use your remotefeature to open all of them at once and then close them all. All resynced in one fell swoop!

P.S. do you know where your radio code is?

You will have to take proof of ownership and your VIN # to the dealer to get the radio code. Too bad you didn't see the previous posts about batteries exploding, and them needing to be replaced.

So, are you saying you did, or didn't, know that the battery was one of the few recalls on your year C280? Or, was this a replacement battery that blew? At any rate, hope things resolve themselves without to much cost.
