Hi guys. Another question with my new used C280 1999 (80K miles).

When driving in the dark with the headlights on and the internal sped./tach and stereo backlit on, shouldn't the backlighting for the climate control come on? IS there a backlighting for this? Is there one central bulb for the digital display and the individual buttons/switches or are there individual bulbs. The whole panel doesn't come on (display and switches), is there a fuse that is responsible for this panel?

yeah the screen is supposed to light up. i think there is a fuse for the whole like panel thing there like every switch and button. so i dont think it is the fuse, but...idk.

 

If it has a digital display the whole unit has one small bulb underneath, you must pull out unit. if it has 2 ***** for the climate control the ***** pull off and bulb under *****,but i think you have digital.
