Just bought myself a C320 Estate (2003) and my rearwindow washerdoesn't squirt any water
Does anyone know if the water supply to the rear wash wipe comes from the front water bottle in the engine bay or is there a rear bottle that has to filled as well.
There is no mention in the manual !!

I speculate there should be a reservoir in the rear - just speculation. Otherwise the tubing would be silly long to get the water from the front to the rear of the car.

Do you hear the pump going when you try to squirt water?

I agree, it seems logical that the water bottle should be in the rear of the car but I can hear the pumpin the front engine bay.....?!

one tank in engine area. . I have seen tube come off in back. by d pillar

this is a wagon right? Its in the back panels in the side cargo area open up and you will see rubber tubes there. look carefully you should see the hose off. that was the prob I had. maybe pump is bad swith the hose for front washer to the other washer pump, check to see if front washer is activated by the turn signal stalk and the rear by the swith on the dash. but try to swith hose on pumps to see if clogged.

 

Yes, its an estate (wagon)
Front washer is activated from the stalk and the rear by the switch on the dash.
