Default Air filter replacement 2004 C320

Does my 2004 C320 have 2 air filters?
Where are they and how exactly do I remove them?
I pulled the smaller plastic cover off the front of the engine, but can't figure out how to remove the larger cover that the intake tubes go into.
Funny...I've restored 60's American muscle cars, including engine and trans rebuilds, but I can't find the air filter on this MB!
Basically, I'm afraid of breaking something, so Ifigured I should ask here first!
Thanks,
Joe

just pull up hard on it. it will come up. but make sure when you reinstall the cover that you get the cover all the way down onto the airmass sensor.

OK,
Just as a follow-up: I now know that in order to remove the filters, I just pulled up on the filter housing. Then unscrewed the covers to gain access to the filters. I didn't realize that the filter housing or plenum was such a massive device. It pulled off quite easily once I knew how. As I said before, I'm new to MB and didn't want to break anything.
