95 C200 jerky gear shifting?

Default 95 C200 jerky gear shifting?

95 C220 has bucking gear shifting. Does trany need servicing or universal linkage?<IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">

Same here 94 C220...jerks through first gear pass, then it's seems to be ok...really bad when it's cold...any answers out there&gt;&gt;????

I have the same problem. '95 C220 that will practically snap your neck from first to second gear...unless you have your foot pegged to the floor. Other than that, the car is a creme puff...1995 with only 34k miles we inherited...can't keep the wife out of it!

Doing it while it's cold is normal. It lights the catalytic converters faster. It's a scheme MB came up with to lower emissions when considering the entire fleet of cars they manufacture.
