2011 W204 C300 - Door Lock Issue (not actuator)
Can anyone offer advice on the door locks?
The driver lock wasn't working with the fob. Read code: 98B101 - Output for the central locking motor has a malfunction. general electric fault I removed the door panel and planned to install an aftermarket actuator. Before attaching the rod on the actuator, I thought to test the new actuator and it wouldn't lock same as the old. So I started testing the wiring and there is continuity to the central door control, I believe the gray/black wire isn't toggling voltage when locked/unlocked though, so the actuator isn't rotating. I tried replacing the door control module and no dice. Everything else in the door is working fine. Could it be in the lock mechanism itself? Any ideas?
I do have an icarsoft 980 and I can see when the door activates the unlock/lock (if my memory is correct they both toggled with the fob). Any advice on next steps?
