2003 C240 Not Starting w/ NEW KEY batteries
Dealer gave me 2 new batteries and even installed them in the key's. NOTHING! No improvement! Locks still inactive by remote control.
ALL FUSES ARE O.K.!!! Had no fuel pressure at the fuel rail and no noise from under the passenger rear seat where the fuel pump is located. Removed and bench tested fuel pump to 12 volts. NO GOOD. Replaced fuel filter after bench testing new fuel pump with 12v., also tested the sending unit on the driver side = good. After bleeding the fuel rail the
VEHICLE STARTED RIGHT UP! 1ST TRY.
NOW, it runs for a few miles and quits. Wait 5-10 minutes and it starts up again. Runs for 2 miles and quits again as though it's in limp mode.
