I was wondering if someone had a picture or could tell me where I would be able to locate the MAF sensor for a 2003 C240. I removed the plastic intake panel and noticed a filter in the shape of a circle on the backside of the motor, there's a sensor attached to it but I wasn't sure if that was the MAF or not since it was dark out and I couldn't really see.

Does anyone know if that was the MAF? If not, can someone tell me where I can find the MAF sensor? Much appreciated. Thanks!

 

Jimmy ...MAF is located in air intake system. Look between the intake air filter box and the throttle body. MAF will have wires comming out of it and usually a clamp or two holding it in.

 

i removed the maf sensor and sprayed it with CRC MAF Cleaner, pulled the intake filters out and cleaned them (they were incredibly dirty) put everything back on and cleared the CEL. it's been 3 days or so now and the CEL has not come back yet. hopefully it stays away!
