MAF sensor location

RE: MAF sensor location
There are two air tubes after the air cleaner. One is about 3" in diameter and has nothing in it. The other appears to go to the Supercharger. Is the MAF sensor on the small side toward the front of the car?

Wonderwoman, I did not know if you were wanting cleaner or the part? Anyway,I can't remember why I specifically kept this link regarding MAF, It may be worth taking a look at.. http://www.x-desk.net/ximages/21302_pgsi0079en.pdf
I have seen either here or another M.B. forum someone selling used ones, I would never buy a used one from anyone. just a F.Y.I.
I can vouch for two lower links as I have bought from both.

I am almost certian this is a link (below) I got from one of Bazzle's posts.. Man hope I am right! Bazzle been a good source of info. If I am wrong I apologize, regardless I know I got it from in here somewhere.. I am a packrat on these links and can't remember why I saved them.

CRC Brand mass airflow sensor cleaner is one brand availible in the states at most parts houses. I would shoot Bazzle or Sleepwalker a instant message here and ask them what they use. I use brake cleaner and I am sure others will not agree with this choice. Regardless make sure cleaner does not leave residue on sensor. Carburetor cleanerwill leave petroleum based coat on sensor.
One thing I have found is that air filter is critical, and this is a point of contention among many. This is my ownpersonal experience and only that--> K&N filters which are cleaned, oiled and reused contaminate sensor with the oil. Cheaper filters coat single wire MAF with microfibers. I use WIX brand filters and thats a personal choice, there are as manyopinions as brands of toilet paper people use... This is only my experience and choices..
