Hi Guys,
my 2003 C230K Sportcoupe started to produce a rough idle a while back.
After some research I had the recall for the breather hoses done w/o much success. Got error codes P0101 and eventually misfire codes.
Exchanged the MAF which improved the situation dramatically even though still got some minor idle shake. The bigger problem I'm facing now is after I exchanged the MAF I got a condition where there is no or very limited throttle response after shifting gears (manual) or acceleration.
Got throttle position error codes P0120, P0121, P0122, so I exchanged the accelerator pedal which includes the throttle position sensor.
Unfortunately this did not resolve the problem.
I need help:
Is there a reset that is required after exchanging Throttle Position Sensor and/or MAF?
Is there another throttle position sensor other than the one on the accelerator pedal?
Other known fixes to my symptoms?
So far I have selfdiagonsed, but I'm about to give the car to a local repair shop specialized in European cars since I'm running out of ideas that are reasonably priced. :surrender:

 

The throttle body may need a good cleaning. After you swapped the MAF you should have taken a glance at the throttle body to see if it needed cleaning. Sometimes this will help just a suggestion. [/align]
