Hi I am a new member of this forum. I have a Mercedes 2001 C320 that I bought last year. The car mostly sits in the garage as I take the Metra to work. Yesterday I noticed that the car has a few clear spots of fluid on the garage floor. My boyfriend told me that it was antifreeze. I have a few questions:

1) what are common problems that would cause this to leak?
2) can I drive the car as long as the leak is small?

If the leak is clear and like water it's probably condensation from the air conditioner. Anti freeze feels greasy and should be green or red colored depending on the brand.

 

as the lad said before should be greasey to touch but check to see if it has anty freeze in it should be ok to drive but keep an eye on levels or engine will over heat causing damage get it checked at a garage no one will charge for a quick check
