Hi, I have a 2001 c220 cdi. Over the last few weeks it has been making a thumping noise coming from the back when going over bumps and when driving on the motorway a few days ago it felt as though the car was swaying slightly when going over roughly 60mph. Any ideas what this could be? I've recently had suspension springs done and was told at the time the shocks looked fine. Does it sound like shocks need replacing? Any other ideas as to what it could be? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
