Default 2000 c230k

hello everyone, I have a 2000 c230k and I’ve been running into a little problem that I’ve kearned to work around but it’s cone to the point where my car is nearly built and I want to get this problem out of the way, when I gas it the car runs perfectly fine, motor is in great condition only has 146k miles and transmission is in great condition too, the problem is when I floor it the accelerator seems to loose it’s power to the point where I floor it and it won’t respond for a couple seconds then starts to pick up speed very slowly, if I don’t floor it the car takes off normal and nothing happens but the second I floor it all the way this is what happens, the only way to fix the problem is to turn the car off and turn it back in and then again if I floor it, it happens again... I’m thinking it is the mass air flow sensor but I’m not sure and don’t want to invest into something that is not the problem, I have my computer scanner and it shows nothing so I’m not sure what it is, any help is very appreciated and I wanna thank you in advance for the help.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Are you using a generic OBD II reader or one specifically for Mercedes?
