I have a contact problem on the switch, I was told it was an issue with that years car. The contact seem to be hit and miss. It starts most of the time bu tonce in a while the car won't start, you can hear the starter try to start but stopped.

Has anyone else has this problem? how easy is it to replace the contacts or the switch? Dealer told me it is about $1000.00 job.
