1998 C230 Cabin blower stays running
Hello all,
New member here needing help with 1998 C230 that leaves the interior AC blower fan (cabin blower fan) on even when the car is shut off and key removed. Only way to stop fan is to pull fuse 29.
When car is shut off center ducts seem to close and air blows from end ducts only. Fan runs and runs. Would kill battery eventually.
I replaced the blower motor regulator 2 months ago for "no high speed fan" and replaced the cabin filter too. All was well until this happened.
There is some weirdness on the display of the climate control unit but has been for a couple of years. The LCD screen is wearing out and the display is flukey at times.
Can anyone tell me what to do to stop the fan from running?
Thanks
