1996 C220 will not start
A sick neighbor who has a 1996 C220 (which has sat for a year due to illness), has recovered enough to drive back and forth to dialysis. After getting the car to start, he drove 30 minutes to his treatment. 5 minutes from his appointment the car stopped running. Towed to my house, the car has -
-No spark
-No signal to the fuel injectors
-Cam shaft is turning
-Cranks at a sufficient rate
-Good compression
-Is receiving fuel to the fuel rail with sufficient pressure
-Codes currently on the car are: P0141, P0411, P0600.
I do not know if these codes were on prior to the trip or just popped up.
Can this be a crankshaft or camshaft position sensor bad? Mass Air Flow sensor? Computer?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
