Hi. Just bought a 1995 C280 benz. About 128 k miles. Have noticed a pretty constant "squeaking" sound when driving the car; more noticeable going over bumps. Can someone tell me what is causing this? Its definitely coming from underneath the car..

 

normally its just the shockers sqeeking when the car is standing still bounce the back end up and down with your hands it should squeek then it wont do it when its wet either if it does this eventually replace them if not this then it could be bushing but i have had a few mercs and its always the shocks
