seat belts are squeaking

seat belts are squeaking
My 2 front seat belts are squeaking. The squeak seems to be coming from the top part of the belt but I cannot see anything to put oil on that would not get onto the belt. Is there a way to open up the panel easily? If so how? Thanks in advance for any help. I have a 2000 E320
