Default 1994 C220 -- Attempt to change antenna

I was about to start the replacement process for the power antenna on my car, when I noticed the bolt which surrounds the antenna on the rear fender has broken off from its' thread . So the bolt head comes off, however most of the thread section from the bolt is still in the antenna housing, (the black plastic housing unit). The antenna mast, of course, will not pull out to allow replacement.

Can someone give me some advice on how I can remove the antenna and get at the thread section to remove it?

Alternatively, how can I remove the black plastic section (which sits on the rear fender and houses the antenna unit). Presume if I can remove this black section, I can remove the antenna from the bottom of the black section, rather than trying to pull it from the top.

Thanks, appreciate any advice on how to solve this problem.
