hey guys i have a 2006 c230 i would like to replace the air filters i know there is two under the black plastic engine cover. i see the front 1/3 easily pops off to expose the oil filter. how do i get the back part of this engine cover off to get at the filters? any advice is helpful

First, why do you want tho replace them? The back will pop off by pulling straight up. There may be a clip on the back center which you can easily push off (push towards back and over catch). There are 4 retainer clips on the air filter assy that mount to rubber stops on the engine.. You will also have to remove the inlet hose in the front of the assy that is for the air injection.. Very simple. I recommend not using k&n filters if that is your intention.
