Second try here; posted in the general tech section but no response. [/align]My car is comming up on the required transmission/differential service and I would like to do it myself assuming it is not too involved. I have done so on older BMW's and Volvos so I am not a total automotive virgin. What is involved here? is it as simple as dropping the pan and removing the filter, changing the filter and pan gasket, filling the pan and then buttoning it up; or is there more involved? is there a filler pipe or must you simply fill the pan? What of the front differential? How much and what kind of fluid for the trans? does the front differential take gear oil or trans fluid.[/align][/align]Tried the "search" settings and got a retarded response to the effect that there were no posts regarding transmissions (DUH!!!!!)[/align][/align]Thanks for any help someone could offer.[/align][/align]Will[/align]
