I have owned my 1993 300 turbo diesel , 2.5 for 5yrs. I have not been able to find a mechanic that can explain why there is such a hard bang/ thump when the car down sifts . My car rides beautifully and it gets up with the traffic. I feel like the mechanics I’ve been to just want to sell me a transmission . I’ve had my vacuum system rebuilt and I’ve have the transmission. Linkage adjusted . What advice can you lend me or where , If you know , can I take the car to a trust technician in the Philadelphia area . My car only has 185k mls and I love it’s performance
