Hello Mercedes Pilots-Experts
I'm new in Mercedes "world" (really 0% knowledge) and i'm getting mad with all things in general ! That's why i look for SERIOUS people with real knowledge and experience. All right here we go !

Searching for a long trip car with PETROL engine and MANUAL gearbox i saw this Cockpit and fall in love in it (the car is amazing from inside and outside ! )



My questions are:

1-Does any other Mercedes car have this exactly wood interior-line ?

2-For the E series are two versions with this cockpit, "original" and facelift (after 2007?). Which car is better made or have less problems? Good-Bad things! (looking to have as less problems as possible specially electrical and electronic control units )

3-What petrol Engine is the "Strongest" or most reliable, mechanically strong ? there are 4 cylinders with different output power from 177 up to 185 Hp and then the 6 Cylinders aspirated (8 Cylinders are too much for me ;-P)

4-Trim levels who can explain me the difference between Classic, Avangard and maybe other ones ? How are called the the highest, medium and basic trim ?

5-Looking for the best audio quality-sound i ask you if there are different levels and which is the best ? Differences between them ? can i swap or upgrade them without changing the whole care wiring? (I mean Mercedes Head Unit not Android Car ones). Want to look it as original as possible !. In the description is written Audio 50 APS thre are audio 40-30-20... as well ? what does APS mean ?

6-There is any budget Scanner to read the fault codes ? Which is the official Scanner or Software for the Mercedes Benz.

7-Where can i get-buy the Illustrated Parts Catalogue and Workshop guides for this car ? Want to see parts availability for this car and how much they cost

8-Is the steering really electrical on this car or hydraulic ?

9-Petrol tank capacity are 65 Litres ? Does any Mercedes have more than 65 Litres ?
