Drove a 2006 C300 sport for 2 hours after the driver's side drive shaft broke. Bought a new pair but only installed the one side. It wasn't long enough so we cut the shaft and welded a 2 inch piece to make it fit. It doesn't feel right when making a hard turn. Any idea what could have bent 2 inches? Should I replace the front end components on the driver's side? Should I have replaced the passenger side drive shaft?
