I just purchased and installed, with the help of a local car shop, a custom built supercharger for my ML 320 (1999). I also got it lowered just a little bit, and got new springs. With the superior handling that Mercedes is known for, my ML handles like a large car. I used to own a Lexus IS 300, and my ML handles almost like that. It's fun to drive!!! Oh, I also got some lightening work done. My main competetor is the Ford F-150 Lightning, which stock can't beat me, but with work done can.

I used to run a 150 direct port nitrous kit on my Honda Prelude... I loved the boost and kick in acceleration that i got from it but, i was doing piston rings averey 20pases at the track. I spent over 2300$ in chrome rings... every 3 weeks from running passes. I got rid of the nitrous and put on a blower(super charger).... less wear and tear constant power...
From a old ricers point of view... Turbo or Charger...

I guess with a name like mine I feel I need to reply to this one. I got my nickname from my 275Hp wet shot on my 95 Vette. I have filled more bottles than I care to mention, But I will probably have HPS put a blower on my ml55 and forego the spray. The hassle of filling the bottles, trying to maintain bottle temp and worrying about engine damage have made up my mind. Good luck
