Default Nitrous and the 95 SL V-12 engine

I am in the process of planning a 100HP shot of Nitrous Oxide for our 95 SL600's V-12 engine. Any of you tried nitrous on a mercedes V12 before? Just testing the waters to hear opinions. I want to inject only N20 behind the mass airflow sensors and use the OEM injectors to enrich the mixture. Any ideas? I'm new here so hello all and thanks in advance!

Not really. No ideas. I just use that stuff at the dentist.

I thought if the shot went ahead of the MAF the computer would richen the mix. No?

When you start to eliminate unsprung weight fromyour 4,500 lbs behemoth, can I have the left headlight wiper/washer assembly? I'm sure it just slows you down because of itsdead weight AND sailboat-like aerodynamics. In fact, if you got rid of 1,000 lbs, there's100 virtual ponies for free.

Did you notice the air restriction at the beginning ofthe two air intake ducts right behind the grille? One of my "shields" was cracked in half so I took both completely off. Now I have "ram air" for free.hehe

Newer SL600suse a twin-turbo (or bi-turbo as the insiders refer to them)to get ~495 hp. I know it's not a direct fit and you would still have the short block strength issues to resolve, but that would add some true character to the car and you seem to be able of the effort. I can't see where you could get an empty Campbell's soup can to fitunder the hood let alone a twin-turbo, but stranger thingshappen all the time.Would cost a fortune and a half, though, even doing the work yourself.

There's at least one outfit, RennTech, who will do a 7.4L conversion with heads, cams, exhaust and ECU upgrades for ~$50K. It's their 575 hp package. I call it their "ouch" package.
