After a couple of years of reading about the AMGs I finally bought one today. It is sweet. It sounds like the gates of hell are opening everytime I step on the throttle. What a great ride.

Oh by the way, I bought a silver/charcoal 2004 CL55 with 36k AND 3 years extended CPO warranty! The warranty is good till Nov 2010.

This is the only way I was going to buy it. A few months ago I was driving across Alligator Alley at dusk when my front suspension broke on my 2000 s500 and I managed to milk the car to Miami. The next day they fixed it and gave me a bill for $3,500. Cars like this need a warranty.

Why am I sitting here talking to you guys? I should be out there supporting Shell and Amoco. Gas station attendants wave at me as I drive by now.

I'd like to add sat radio, bluetooth and an iPod connector. The dealer offered the sat for $400 and the bluetooth for $2500. I gagged. Is there an alternative?

Congratulations to your new ride, I'm confused also as K1, IMO 2,500 is too much for a blue tooth.

 

cool car, but i'm confused also. if you really wanted to spend a lot on bluetooth you could get an entirely new alpine headunit 7 inch screen thing that can do that for half as much. or, get something simplier like harman kardon drive + play 2 and that can do bluetooth even cheaper for about 500 bucks one you get the needed bluetooth enabler...

 

Blue tooth should cost about 1000$ as i have it in all four of my cars - 2007 g35. 2003 sl500, 2003 e320, 2008 ford explorer
