I have been in and out of the dealership for the last 2 months. The last time was to finally fix the clutch pack and IC pump. I didn't understand why it took SIX days to fix, when they had all the parts there when I brought the car in. I noted the mileage when I took the car in, and to my surprise, when the car was finally ready SIX days later, they had put 98 miles on my car!!They had the nerve to tell me that when they replace a cluth pack that they need to do FOUR test drives for 20 miles apiece to make sure the clutch pack was working normally!! They told me that it (cluth pack) had to be baked in an oven and they had to test drive it numerous times to make sure it was working.Needless to say, it seems that when I bring my 2005 E55 AMG in for service, the techs and service guys eye's light up like they don't see many of these cars. I feel like they kept my car there for a few extra days and went joyriding in my $100,000 car!!! I feel like I entrusted my child to the hospital and they raped him and I.Can someone chime in and let me know if 100 miles at the dealer and 6 days for a new clutch pack and IC pump is NORMAL? Or did these people go joyriding in my pride and joy???I feel like calling the police and telling them they stole my car?
