Default C32 ESP Warning

HI guys.

I've been offered a C32 for a good price but there is one thing that worries me about the car. When you are driving the ESP light flashes on and off now and then. The seller tells me that this is because the back wheels have been replaced with 19" jobbies and the front are 18". He says that this 'confuses' the ESP. Is thsi tue/plausible? Will this casue me any problems if I buy the car?

Thanks.

possible.

it will cause problem since everytime the light flashes, it applies brake to the front wheel thinking it's slipping.

IS there anything that can be done or is swapping the wheels for the originals the only thing that I can do?

not sure if this would be of any help......i had the same problem with my BMW, where the stablizer light would come on and off more frequently than it should. took it to two diff. dealerships and got the same answer that you got on the c32 amg - that my back tires were marginally larger than my front (not sure how that happened, think the tire shop made a mistake). i eventually swapped the tires out so they were all the same size, the problem went away (or at least happened less frequently). speaking from personal experience, it was very annoying. you might just want to make absolutely sure that the tires are what's causing the problem.
